Dale re-creates scenes of old motorcycles, autos, gas stations and junkyards of America. Great classic american scenes and themes from the 1920's through the 1960's. Dale was born in the Copper Mining District of Northern Michigan, where his father owned a small service station. Thirty odd years later, his passion for the rustic is revealed in these paintings. This combination is what distinguishes Klee's paintings from the usual illustrations of shiny classic automobiles and bikes. |
