David Uhl is an artist's artist. His technique, realistic with an impressionistic flair, breathes fantastic life into even the most ordinary of subject matter. He is now among the select few officially licensed fine artists of Harley- Davidson Motor Company. An avid Harley owner since 1988, Uhl's passion finally coincided with his artistic talent. Harley-Davidson Motor Company executives, recognizing David's creative ability, allowed him into their archives to research vintage photos for his paintings. Being captivated by the extraordinary history of Harley, his desire was to memorialize the legacy. Art and motorcycle collectors alike are meeting the paintings that Uhl has created for Harley-Davidson with great renown.
