John grew up around bikes, a lot of his friends owned bike shops and raced motorcycles. John started out doing the logo's and signs for the teams. During this period John rode on and off and helped his Bro.’s work on their Harley's and other scooters. He was and continues to be a contributor that is featured in many biker and motorcycle magazines such as Easyriders, Full Throttle, In The Wind and many others. If things work out, John will be one of our featured artists at the Grand Opening of our store in Fort Davis, Texas this spring. John is a stand-up guy with talent and has worked hard to turn himself around, show a Bro your support. Almost ten years ago John had a turn of bad luck, he left his home and family to spend his workday as a carpenter and shortly thereafter was referred to as Inmate #274-403 at the Lima Correctional Institution. John put his down time to good use, he turned this negative time to positive and refined his artistic skills as well as contributing his time, artistic talent and insight to various programs that benefited others. As John puts it “It was time to get back to the soul of my being, my biker art.... Writing letters with my pen and drawing with my pencils is how I escaped the reality of the walls that kept me bound.” During that time John met alot of great bothers & sisters that helped him out. They were always by his side then and still are today.... |
