In the mid twenties, the concept of streamlining was fast taking hold as engines became capable of greater speeds and sleeker shapes were required to overcome wind resistance.

The new 1925 Harley-Davidson® motorcycle , with its newly designed Stream-Line gas tank was an early attempt by the motor company to give a more modern look to its motorcycles. The teardrop shape of the gas tank, especially in later iterations, would not only become the classic image of Harley-Davidson but would define the look of the American Motorcycle, as well.

As guardians of 100 years of Harley-Davidson's artistic history, our archive prints are reproduced with custom formulated inks on heavy acid free art paper to last a lifetime.

These beautiful and rare images are available in distinct sizes to fit your own particular requirements. Proudly display your passion for American built Harley-Davidson Motorcycles.
